Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced a significant development regarding the eagerly awaited Noida International Airport. During the inauguration of a flight service connecting Lucknow to Varanasi, Adityanath revealed that the first runway of the Noida International Airport, located in Jewar, is set to be operational by the close of this year. The sprawling airport, covering a vast expanse of 1,334 acres, is being meticulously developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL). This entity operates as a fully-owned subsidiary of the renowned Swiss concessionaire Zurich International Airport AG.
