Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced a significant development regarding the eagerly awaited Noida International Airport. During the inauguration of a flight service connecting Lucknow to Varanasi, Adityanath revealed that the first runway of the Noida International Airport, located in Jewar, is set to be operational by the close of this year. This milestone marks a crucial step towards the completion of the ambitious project, which is poised to make a notable mark on the global aviation landscape.

Once completed, the Noida International Airport is slated to become not only a source of pride for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but also a remarkable achievement on the world stage. It will secure its place as the fourth largest airport globally and stand as the largest in Asia. According to the BJP MLA representing Jewar, the airport's growth has far-reaching implications for the economy. In the year 2021, the foundation stone for the Noida International Airport was ceremoniously laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The sprawling airport, covering a vast expanse of 1,334 acres, is being meticulously developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL). This entity operates as a fully-owned subsidiary of the renowned Swiss concessionaire Zurich International Airport AG.

As the construction efforts continue at an accelerated pace, the Noida International Airport emerges as a testament to visionary planning and dedicated execution. The progress toward the first operational runway is a notable achievement that aligns with the government's commitment to advancing infrastructure and fostering economic growth.
